Printing (possibly) required….
Friday, August 17th, 2007Planning a marketing campaign, probably involving A5/A6 leaflets, new business cards and some A4 printed letterheads.
Any of you (many) print companies out there, feel free to throw prices at me so I can throw a budget together and see if it’s feasible or not!
More details soon.  Watch this space.
Exam results.
Tuesday, August 7th, 2007Received my Higher exam results today; grade A for Chemistry, Computing, Maths and Physics and a C for English.
Not too pleased with the English grade since I expected better based on the prelim etc but the other four I’m more than pleased with :D:D.
Can now leave school, just need to find a job….
The future of business networking…
Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007I’d just like to bring this promotional video to the attention of anyone visiting, for a company called 4Networking (who I’ve also linked to in the sidebar).
4Networking do business networking the modern way, with unstuffy, open face to face meetings with an online forum that complements them. I’ve only used the forum since their closest meeting is about 300 miles away but even through this I can see the benefits of business networking.
Without 4Networking, my business would not exist - the first two clients that I carried out work for are members. Networking is a crucial part of my marketing strategy and I’d suggest that it should be a crucial part of anyone’s business if you are serious about becoming a success.
Visit the 4Networking website here.
Networking isn’t just a business tool - i’s about meeting people and building contacts, helping each other become successful.
Gary Martin T/A KiltoxServices!
Wednesday, April 18th, 2007Finally managed to open a business bank account, with Lloyds TSB.
Must say I’m impressed with their service for businesses, very efficient. The customer service line doesn’t ring once before it’s answered, unlike the experience personal banking customers (with any bank) go through.
My age wasn’t a problem to them - unlike a lot of other banks who provide business banking.
Lloyds’ personal banking isn’t amazing in my experience, I’d describe it as acceptable but their business banking certainly blows that away, makes up for anything that’s ever annoyed me and to be honest, I’ve been a bit harsh about it in the past anyway.
Go TSB! ![]()
Let there be light!
Monday, April 9th, 2007I thought it was about time I created a blog, so here we are.
This blog will tell stories of developments within my current business venture, KiltoxServices which is creating waves within the web design & development market despite only being 9 months old.
Also featured will be some essential information aimed at business owners who are confused about the benefits of having an effective web presence, so watch this space.
Of course there will be some pointless rambling as well!
