Finally managed to open a business bank account, with Lloyds TSB.
Must say I’m impressed with their service for businesses, very efficient. The customer service line doesn’t ring once before it’s answered, unlike the experience personal banking customers (with any bank) go through.
My age wasn’t a problem to them - unlike a lot of other banks who provide business banking.
Lloyds’ personal banking isn’t amazing in my experience, I’d describe it as acceptable but their business banking certainly blows that away, makes up for anything that’s ever annoyed me and to be honest, I’ve been a bit harsh about it in the past anyway.

Well at least you didn’t choose Abbey. I am in the middle of sueing them and wouldn’t wish them on my worst enemy. Nice blog BTW

Business banking can depend very much on who your business manager is, we have an good one at Lloyds TSB now but the previous one was absolutely terrible.
My other business banks with Barclays and again current manager is good, prior to that it was all a bit rocky.
